Hot and crispy golden on the outside, tender and soft on the inside. Delicious and pleasurable in limited quantities, arteriosclerotic and deadly in excess.
Such is Life.

Bullet
"God loves me. I trust God's love. God's love brings new life. Amen."
My Love recently learned that he had the dreaded "C" word: Cancer.
Ironically, Reality hit home; after spending over a decade of my career treating and managing patients with systemic diseases, the fact that someone so precious to me is facing this life challenge is "eye-opening".
My dad is a cancer specialist, and I grew up getting to know patients and friends with cancer, and witnessed first hand the war against cancer.
Now, I appreciate that dad is a Warrior and Hero in the fight against cancer, and all cancer patients are Heroes. There is definitely success and HOPE.
There is Victory. Dad jokes he named me "Victory" as a reminder to him that Victory is THE only option for him in treating his patients and in living life.
The notes on these pages are a memoir of sorts of some thoughts of being on the caretaker/friend/family side.
When someone you love has Cancer, not only does their world change, so does yours.
I believe, God will make something remarkable happen.
